ในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5, ประเทศไทยเริ่มมีการเปิดรับอารยธรรมตะวันตกมากขึ้น ส่งผลให้ การแต่งกายของคนสมัยนั้นเริ่มมีการเปลี่ยนแปลงไปตาม อารยธรรมของตะวันตก แฟชั่น เสื้อผ้า ทั้งชายและหญิง เริ่มมีการแต่งกายที่คล้ายกันมากขึ้น ซึ่งสามารถเห็นได้ชัดจาก การผูก, คาด และการพับ ซึ่งอาจจะเป็นครั้งแรกของประเทศไทย ที่มีการแต่งกายสไตล์ unisex (รูปแบบเครื่องแต่งกายที่สามารถสวมใส่ได้ทั้งชายและหญิง)
Concept : In the reign King Rama 5, Thailand officially started to receive the western civilization. Both Thai men and women costumes shared some similarity which most of the wearing process used binding, folding, wrapping and tying. According to the sense of Thai traditional costumes in the reign of King Rama 5, it could be referred as the very first form of Thai unisex style which is the inspiration of this collection.
This collection has used the traditional patterns of that time to inspired the unisex casual costumes represent in the pastel colour tones.
